A "cookie" is a small file a website places in your browser. Apps use similar means to remember some things on your phone. Here is what Meet First does.
1. In the app
The app only keeps on your phone what it needs to work:
- your session, so you stay signed in without getting a code every time you open it;
- your preferences: language, height unit, screen choices;
- temporary data (photos being sent, last state shown) that makes the app faster.
This data stays on your phone. It is erased when you sign out, delete your account or uninstall the app.
2. On the meet-first.app website
The website (policy pages and shared event links) uses no advertising or audience-measurement cookies. It only stores what a browser normally keeps to display a page.
3. What we do not do
- No advertising, targeted or not.
- No third-party cookies for advertising or social networks.
- Your phone's advertising identifier is never read.
- No tracking from one website or app to another.
4. If this changes
If we ever add audience measurement, it will be turned off by default. We will ask for your agreement first, and you will be able to withdraw it at any time in Settings. This policy will be updated beforehand.
